In Memoriam Desmond Wilkinson Llewelyn (12/09/1914 - 19/12/1999) Fue el entrañable y cascarrabias Q con Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton y Pierce Brosnan. Su despedida en El mundo nunca es suficiente (The World Is Not Enough - Le monde ne suffit pas, 1999) , desgraciadamente, fue profético, su testamento. Pocos días después murió en un accidente de tráfico.

Hizo su primera aparición en Desde Rusia con amor (From Russia With Love - Bons baisers de Russie, 1963) y no participó en el primer James Bond 007 protagonizado por Roger Moore 007: Vive y deja morir (Live And Let Die - Vivre et laisser mourir, 1973).

Era cita obligatoria la visita a la sección Q, donde éste enseñaba sus inventos a Bond que nunca se los devolvía bien.

His farewell in The World Is Not Enough (1999), unfortunately, was his prophet, his will. A few days later he died in a traffic accident.

He made his first appearance in From Russia With Love (1963) and did not participate in the first James Bond 007 starring Roger Moore Live And Let Die (1973).
