Más sobre Bond 23 Finalmente Judi Dench retoma el papel de M, y se rumorea sobre la la posible incorporación de Javier Bardem a la lista de villanos de la serie. En esta ocasión la banda sonora correrá a cargo de Thomas Newman, varias veces nominado a los Óscar y conocido por sus trabajos en Wall-E, Cadena Perpetua o Erin Brockovich. Por tanto, ésta será la primera película de Bond en 15 años que no cuenta con la colaboración de David Arnold. El motivo de este cambio se debe a que el director Sam Mendes solicitó los servicios de Newman y no que Arnold esté trabajando en la música de los Juegos Olímpicos de Londres. Jesper Christensen (Mr. White) abandona Bond 23.

Por otra parte, cabe destacar que John Logan,co-guinista de SkyFall y también colaborador habitual de Sam Mendes, acaba de ser nominado para el Óscar al mejor guión adaptado.
